Role Description The SCHNEIDER:IN / MUSTERSCHNEIDER:IN at Petar Petrov GmbH is a full-time, hybrid role based in Vienna, Austria, with some flexibility for work from home. The role focuses on creating, adjusting, and finishing high-quality garments, including tailoring samples and production pieces according to design specifications and technical drawings. Daily tasks include developing and refining patterns, performing fittings, making alterations, and collaborating closely with design and production teams to ensure excellent fit and construction. The role also involves selecting appropriate materials and techniques, maintaining quality standards throughout the process, and organizing work to meet production timelines. Documentation of patterns, adjustments, and technical details is expected to support smooth communication across the team.
Qualifications

• Strong expertise in garment construction, tailoring, and sample making, with attention to detail and precision.
• Experience in pattern development, grading, and adjustments for different sizes and fits.
• Ability to work with various fabrics and materials, including handling delicate and high-end textiles.
• Proficiency in using industrial sewing machines, cutting tools, and other relevant equipment.
• Good understanding of fit, drape, and garment proportion, and ability to conduct fittings and make accurate alterations.
• Organized working style, with the ability to manage tasks, follow production schedules, and meet deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset, able to communicate clearly with design, pattern-making, and production teams.
• Relevant vocational training or education in tailoring, pattern making, or fashion design; professional experience in high-end or luxury fashion is an advantage.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup in Vienna, Austria, with some tasks performed on-site and some from home.
