SCM Consultant, path to Kinaxis Maestro

About the Role
Do you support supply chain planning systems like SAP APO or IBP, and want to grow into one of the most in-demand platforms in the market?
Join our AMS team supporting a long-term global client on Kinaxis Maestro. No Kinaxis experience needed. We'll train you in the team. What matters is your experience supporting SCM applications and your understanding of how planning works. It's a hybrid of operations and development: incidents, problems and changes, and building new solutions as you grow.

What you'll do

• Learn Kinaxis Maestro hands-on, with support from experienced consultants and solution architects
• Monitor the planning solution, handle incidents and service requests, and find root causes
• Investigate data issues across systems (SAP, integration layers, Maestro) and fix them for good
• Handle Change Requests, work with Solution Architects to draft solutions and present proposals to the business.
• Take part in changes and new developments as your Kinaxis skills grow. Develop Maestro-related developments through fixes and/or changes.
• Work with business users: understand their issue, explain the impact and keep them updated. Build customer relationship.
• Propose improvements, not just close tickets

Requirements

• 2+ years in an IT role supporting supply chain planning applications (L2 or L3 support, AMS, application management or consulting)
• Hands-on experience with at least one planning solution, such as SAP APO (DP, SNP, PP/PPDS, DRP), SAP IBP, o9, Blue Yonder/JDA, OMP or Anaplan or Kinaxis
• Understanding of supply chain planning: demand planning, supply planning, production planning
• Analytical mindset and comfort working with data and tables (SQL basics are a plus)
• Clear communication in English, written and spoken
• Willing to work during AMER (North America) hours
• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP integration or data pipelines
• ITIL knowledge: incident, problem and change management
• SQL, Python or scripting
• Kinaxis RapidResponse or Maestro exposure, even as a user
