Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Screen Installation and Maintenance Technician. The role involves scheduling and coordinating screen installations at client sites, including preparing equipment, traveling to locations as needed, and ensuring proper mounting, cabling, and power connections. The technician will configure screens and related hardware, perform initial testing, and verify that displays meet project specifications and safety standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing routine maintenance, updating content or firmware when required, and documenting all work performed. The role also requires clear communication with clients and internal teams, timely reporting on job status, adherence to safety protocols, and accurate recordkeeping for inventory and service activities.

Qualifications

• Technical hardware skills: experience with installing electronic displays, handling cables and connectors, basic knowledge of AV or IT equipment, and ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Troubleshooting and maintenance skills: ability to diagnose screen and connectivity issues, perform routine checks, follow maintenance schedules, and carry out repairs or escalate issues appropriately.
• Planning and coordination skills: strong time management, ability to organize installation visits, follow work orders, document activities, and manage multiple assignments independently in a remote setup.
• Communication and client service skills: clear written and verbal communication, ability to explain technical information in simple terms, and professional interaction with clients and colleagues.
• Safety and compliance awareness: understanding of basic workplace safety practices, ability to follow installation and electrical safety guidelines, and attention to detail in adhering to company standards.
• Beneficial qualifications: prior experience in field service, AV installation, or facilities maintenance; comfort with basic computer use and mobile work apps; valid driver’s license for travel to sites if required; and willingness to work flexible hours based on project needs.
