We are currently representing a leading global Financial Services firm in the appointment of high-calibre professionals as part of a period of strategic growth and investment.
Our client operates at the intersection of corporate, fiduciary and regulatory services, partnering with private equity houses, investment managers and international financial institutions. Backed by long-term institutional investment and an established global brand, the firm is scaling its capabilities, technology and international footprint.
This is an excellent foot-in-the-door opportunity for someone who can bring strong attention to detail, sound judgement and a methodical approach to their work. You do not need to have worked directly in screening or client onboarding before, although you will need to demonstrate experience in reviewing detailed information and maintaining accurate records within a regulated financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing results generated by screening tools and assessing whether potential matches are genuine
- Using the available data to investigate and eliminate false matches
- Escalating confirmed matches promptly and in line with the firm’s procedures
- Preparing clear summaries of any genuine matches identified
- Accurately documenting the evidence and rationale behind your decisions
- Managing your workload effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience working in a regulated financial services environment
- Proven attention to detail, ideally gained in a role involving the review of documents, records or transactions.
- Business-level proficiency in both written and spoken English
- The confidence to make evidence-based decisions and clearly explain your reasoning
- The ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and adapt to changing requirements
- A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within compliance
- A continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to learn
