Scrum master Role Summary We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in consumer technology and communication platforms to drive agile delivery across our cross-functional product and engineering teams. In this role, you will act as a servant leader and agile coach, ensuring teams deliver high-quality software on time, within scope, and with a focus on continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of agile frameworks, experience scaling complex digital products within a fast-paced startup or scale-up consumer platform environment, and familiarity navigating regulatory and compliance processes in financial software delivery. Additionally, you should possess prior exposure to API-driven architectures and technical delivery, alongside hands-on proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, Azure DevOps, or similar. Responsibilities Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies — daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Partner with Product Owners and Engineering Managers to ensure clear prioritization and alignment of sprint goals. Remove blockers, manage dependencies, and drive continuous improvement in delivery processes. Ensure adherence to agile principles and best practices across teams. Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration. Track and analyze sprint metrics (velocity, burn-downs, cycle time) to help teams improve efficiency and predictability. Guide teams in adopting agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and techniques that best fit fintech product cycles. Collaborate closely with compliance, security, and data teams to ensure agile delivery. Support multiple squads working on communications, AI, platform, customer service and experience Coach and mentor team members and stakeholders in agile mindset and practices. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred). Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I/II) or equivalent agile certification. 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in agile software development environments. Proven experience working in consumer platforms Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and DevOps practices. Exceptional facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable working with distributed or cross-functional teams.
