Job Context

Agilyx is a change-ready technology services company that empowers organisations with business-leading technology solutions. MUNIvers is one of our core products, providing Salesforce-native cloud solutions for local government. You will work with a fully remote product and development team of about 6–8 people, alongside Product Owners and the Product Manager. The team uses Azure DevOps to manage the backlog and software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Scrum Effectiveness and Team Coaching

  • Facilitate purposeful Scrum events and coach developers, QA and Product Owners in their responsibilities.
  • Ensure every sprint has a clear Sprint Goal and a plan that reflects capacity, dependencies and testing needs.
  • Work with Product Owners to refine unclear or oversized work before sprint selection, applying the Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD).
  • Resolve impediments, run constructive retrospectives with named action owners, and challenge repeated departures from agreed practices, escalating persistent issues to the CTO.

Azure DevOps Discipline and Delivery Reporting

  • Ensure work items have clear ownership, status, estimates and acceptance criteria, and that stale or poorly defined items get fixed.
  • Set up a clear process for urgent and unplanned work so its impact on capacity and Sprint Goals is visible.
  • Maintain dashboards and concise reporting on Sprint Goal progress, risks, carry-over and blockers, and recommend corrective action.

Project Delivery and Release Coordination

  • Maintain project schedules, milestones, dependencies and delivery forecasts based on product priorities and team estimates.
  • Track commitments, raise risks early, and coordinate recovery options with the Product Manager, CTO and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate release plans, readiness reviews and post-release follow-up with development, QA and operational teams.

Collaboration, Quality and Compliance

  • Communicate progress, risks, dependencies and trade-offs clearly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Promote transparency, accountability, continuous improvement and consistent working practices.
  • Comply with Agilyx’s health, safety, environmental, information security and quality requirements, including applicable ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 practices

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead in software development, with a record of improving an established team with inconsistent Scrum practices. Ideally, 5–8 years across Scrum and software delivery roles.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Scrum, backlog refinement, Sprint Goals, estimation, and Definition of Ready and Done.
  • Hands-on Azure DevOps experience with boards, backlogs, queries, dashboards and delivery analytics.
  • Experience coaching fully remote, cross-functional teams across time zones.
  • Confidence challenging unclear work, unrealistic commitments and non-compliance, and securing follow-through.
  • Experience coordinating delivery schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks and releases, with clear reporting.
  • Experience delivering Salesforce applications (technical development expertise is not required).
  • A recognised Scrum or Agile certification, backed by practical experience.
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects or product backlogs.

Competencies and Behaviours

  • Strong facilitation, coaching, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Confident in constructively challenging practices and securing accountability.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working independently.
  • Salesforce development environment experience, Scrum/Agile certification or multi-project coordination experience.

Location

This is a remote-first role. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain working hours that provide sufficient overlap with teams based in Sydney, Australia, North America and India, enabling effective collaboration, communication and alignment with the MUNIvers product and delivery teams.
