Scrum Master / Project Manager

Our federal client is seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Project Manager to manage their cloud-hosted systems and DevOps initiatives. The position focuses on ensuring effective project delivery, managing the CI/CD environment, and adhering to federal standards for IT security and compliance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to Agile best practices. Manage timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies for both fixed and on-demand activities. Track progress and deliverables, providing updates during weekly stand-ups and monthly reporting. Act as the primary liaison between project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet expectations. Oversee the operation and readiness of the CI/CD environment. Coordinate deployment of patches, updates, and system enhancements. Maintain and enforce the Quality Control Plan (QCP) for technical deliverables and accessibility standards. Ensure compliance with federal IT security requirements, including NIST SP 800-53 and Section 508. Manage resource allocation and ensure personnel meet onboarding and security requirements. KEY REQUIREMENTS 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master and/or Project Manager, preferably in cloud-based environments or federal contracts. Proven track record of managing technical teams in Agile environments. Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools, such as Jira or Rally. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, and Git. Understanding of cloud-hosting environments and CI/CD systems. Strong knowledge of IT security and compliance standards (e.g., NIST SP 800-53 and Section 508). Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident with at least three years of continuous residency in the United States. Why work with us?
