Role Description The Search Engine Optimization Specialist will be responsible for improving organic visibility and search performance for WordPress sites managed through WPCentrify. On a day-to-day basis, this full-time remote role includes conducting keyword research, performing SEO audits, optimizing on-page elements, and developing link-building strategies. The specialist will monitor and report on performance using web analytics tools, identify opportunities for growth, and collaborate with content and product teams to implement SEO best practices. The role also involves staying current with search engine algorithms, industry trends, and emerging tools to ensure WPCentrify’s customers benefit from effective, up-to-date SEO strategies.

Qualifications
- Ability to conduct comprehensive keyword research and map keywords to relevant pages and content.
- Experience performing detailed SEO audits to identify technical, content, and structural issues.
- Proficiency in developing and executing ethical link building strategies to improve domain authority.
- Strong skills in web analytics and reporting, including measuring traffic, rankings, and conversions.
- Hands-on experience with on-page SEO, including meta tags, headings, internal linking, and structured data.
- Familiarity with WordPress, including themes, plugins, and common performance and SEO configurations.
- Ability to analyze data, draw actionable insights, and communicate recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Understanding of technical SEO (crawlability, indexation, site speed, mobile optimization) is highly beneficial.
- Previous experience in SaaS, digital marketing, or managing multiple sites is a plus; relevant certifications (e.g., Google Analytics) are advantageous.
