SecOps Security Engineer (L2/L3) – Network & Security Operations

Role: Senior Security Engineer (L2/L3) – Network & Security Operations NorthBay Solutions, an AWS Premier Consulting Partner with distributed teams across the US, Canada, UAE, India, and Pakistan, is hiring high-caliber and experienced Security Engineers (L2/L3) to support a large-scale 24x7 Security Operations environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with enterprise security technologies including firewalls, web security, endpoint protection, VPNs, and security operations processes. Experience 4–10 years of experience in IT Security Operations Experience supporting enterprise environments Strong troubleshooting and incident response capabilities Key Responsibilities Manage and troubleshoot Check Point, Palo Alto, and Fortinet firewalls Implement and review firewall policies, ACLs, NAT , and security rules Administer WAF, IPS, VPN, MFA , and proxy security solutions Support endpoint security platforms including EDR, DLP, and antivirus solutions Investigate security incidents and perform root cause analysis Review security logs, alerts, and operational events Support audit, compliance, and security governance requirements Execute security hardening and vulnerability remediation activities Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and operational reports Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) activities and readiness exercises Required Skills Check Point, Palo Alto, or Fortinet Firewalls WAF and IPS Technologies VPN and MFA Administration Endpoint Security (EDR, DLP, AV) Security Incident Investigation Firewall Rule Review & Security Audits Vulnerability Management ITSM Processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management) Preferred Certifications Check Point (CCSA / CCSE) Palo Alto (PCNSA / PCNSE) Fortinet NSE CompTIA Security+ Other Cybersecurity Certifications Why Apply?
