Security Analyst

We are looking for a Security Analyst with a responsibility in cyber incident detection and response capabilities to work hands-on with cyber threat detection and treatment, too. The preferred location for this position is in Finland (Helsinki, Vaasa, Turku) but also Spain (Madrid) is negotiable. We offer a possibility to hybrid remote working.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Security Analyst you work includes incident and threat response actions in Wartsila Security Operations Center (SOC). Wartsila SOC is centralized function to respond both to cyber and security incidents. Incident and threat response actions by you can be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of a team with agile, actionable and collaborative colleagues in a multinational Wartsila SOC team. You are part of the last line of defence in Wärtsilä Cyber Security organization’s diverse expertise.
Requirements for the position:

Hands-on experience on 24x7 cyber incident response work with threat hunting

Ethical hacking experience with demonstrated ethical behaviours in daily work

Experience in responding to incidents in cyber war room(s)

Hands-on experience in converting complex incidents to simple consequences and impacts

Demonstrated soft skills samples about your past/present duties in cyber space
Qualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have:

Experience in first and second level support of incident and threat response
-
Demonstrated security operations skills (e.g. ECIH, GIAC, CISSP or similar)

Demonstrated feedback from past assignments with references/referees
-
Modest and respecting values and attitude both in private and business life
Optional:

Knowhow about IT service management and product security
-
Skills to utilize forensics, MISP platforms, curated intelligence information and honeypots
