Summary:
The Security, Compliance & Implementation Manager is an experienced security expert who with their wider business experience can define and ensure resources are appropriately directed to areas of security and compliance relevant and necessary for an organisation of this size/industry/profile.
Working with any future outsource provider, the individual will establish and implement security strategies themselves, or ensure they are done by others to protect the company’s systems, directing an internal security specialist as required.
The individual will lead and investigate security vulnerabilities, compromises, breaches, and other cybersecurity incidents in co-ordination with 3rd parties.
The individual will manage, oversee and implement themselves when needed more general IT tools, processes etc. outside of the security space, supporting the Business Systems & IT Manager in the new lean organisation/ acting as their “right hand”.
More generally, the individual will have a relationship with the IT outsource provider, and other more general IT vendors.
As a trusted and largely independent individual in the organization, the individual will as a project define, establish and monitor the outsourcing of the companies master data function – people and process, and on an ongoing basis deal with business-outsource provider issues/ improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Security, Information Technology or relevant field
- Qualifications/ certifications to preferably include, but not limited to; ITL, CISA, ISO/IEC 27032:2012
- Ability to take initiative and drive continued cybersecurity plans and execution of the security program
- More general, detailed, IT experience and expertise within some, if not all, of applications, infrastructure, outsource providers.
