Security Compliance Manager

Our partner, a well-established and structured Belgian organisation, is currently strengthening its IT Security team. In this context, we are looking for a Security & Compliance Manager who is keen to build a long-term career and grow within the organisation.

You will join an experienced team and benefit from a structured environment where you can progressively gain autonomy, take ownership of strategic projects and broaden your scope of responsibilities across Cybersecurity, Risk and Compliance.

Security & Compliance Manager – The Role

• Gradually take the lead on Security & Compliance projects, particularly those related to NIS2, ISO standards and security governance.
• Contribute to the development of the Information Security Management System (ISMS), including policies, standards and procedures.
• Lead IT Risk Assessments, Business Impact Assessments and maintain the risk register.
• Take ownership of IT Service Continuity & Disaster Recovery, from risk analysis through to testing and reporting.
• Collaborate with IT, Business, DPOs, auditors and external partners to strengthen the organisation’s security maturity.
• Progressively take on greater responsibility, ownership and autonomy within the Security team.

Security & Compliance Manager – The Profile

• At least 3 years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT Risk, Compliance or IT Service Continuity.
• Good knowledge of ISO 27001/2700x, ISO 22301, NIST, COBIT and/or ITIL; experience with NIS2 is a strong asset.
• Ability to progressively take ownership of projects and work autonomously.
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure, security controls and cloud environments such as Azure and GCP.
• An analytical, structured and communicative professional, comfortable interacting with both technical and business teams.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; CISM, CISSP, CISA, CRISC or similar certifications are a plus.
