What you’ll be doing…

Our Supply Chain Threat team plays a pivotal role within the CSO (Chief Security Office). We protect against the supplier ecosystem cyber threat, ensuring that our suppliers meet and exceed our thorough standards. No two days are the same, and we grow with dynamic challenges and innovative solutions. We provide actionable intelligence and practical support to internal teams and external suppliers. From threat intelligence and risk mitigation strategies to ground breaking security practices, we’re at the forefront of safeguarding the bank.

Working closely together, we interrogate data from different areas of the bank to uncover insights. Our Management Information (MI) should empower management and subject matter experts (SMEs) with actionable intelligence. Our team is a vibrant mix of backgrounds and perspectives. We celebrate our differences because they fuel creativity and help us get results.

Put simply, helping strengthen the resilience of one of the UK’s largest financial services organisations!

Spotting and understanding threats

  • Use threat intelligence, data and security tooling to identify cyber threats and risks across our supplier ecosystem.
  • Turn complex technical findings into clear, practical advice that helps people make better decisions.

Responding to incidents and managing risk

  • Support the response to cyber incidents within the supplier ecosystem, helping to quantify the risks and feed into action responses.
  • Use what we learn from incidents and emerging threats to strengthen how we strengthen supplier ecosystem security.

Working across the Group

  • Work closely with a variety of teams to build relationships and bring different perspectives together to solve problems and get things done.
  • Influence how security is designed, embedded and continuously improved across our third-party ecosystem.

Making security smarter and more proactive

  • Explore how automation, AI and new technology can help move us towards a more proactive, intelligence-led approach to supplier ecosystem security.
  • Look for opportunities to improve our data, tooling, controls and ways of working.

Making a real difference

  • Work in agile ways, tackling a broad mix of challenges as the threat landscape evolves.
  • Get involved in work that combines threat intelligence, incident response, supplier risk, data and technology.

Why Join us?

If you think all banks are the same, you’re wrong. We’re a pioneering, fast-changing business that’s shaping finance as a force for good. If you’re after a role where you can have an impact and do the best work of your career, you’ve just found it

What we’re looking for?

  • Understanding of supplier ecosystem threats, with a strong awareness of current and emerging cyber risks, and the ability to apply this to third-party environments.
  • Deep security expertise with experience across threat detection, endpoint security, malware protection and information security controls.
  • Innate awareness of risk and outcomes and be comfortable applying operational risk principles to drive clear, proportionate decisions.
  • Can turn insight into action. Able to analyse complex data and translate it into clear, business-relevant recommendations.
  • Can influence and collaborate, building trusted relationships and confidently supporting and challenging stakeholders.
  • Embraces change and work in agile environments, driving continuous improvement.
  • Forward-thinking and interested in how automation and AI can improve security outcomes.
  • Can become recognised as an SME and can be trusted for your judgement and ability to support high-priority scenarios, including incidents.

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CISMP are desirable but not essential.

What will you get in return?

We’re not just offering a job—we’re inviting you to be part of something transformative. Here’s what you’ll gain:
