About the Opportunity:

The SECURITY ENGINEER is responsible for collaborating with the sales team to identify prospects and demonstrate security solutions that protect organizations from cyber threats. This role involves educating customers and partners on technical and business challenges and delivering appropriate security solutions. The position contributes to securing customer operations and information by driving engagement, addressing technical inquiries, managing proof-of-concepts, and participating in cybersecurity events. The role requires residency within the Kansas City area and is performed remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sales to identify prospective clients
• Demonstrate the full portfolio of security solutions
• Educate customers, prospects, and partners on challenges and solutions
• Conduct meetings to identify customer problems and provide solutions
• Address technical questions and offer best practice insights
• Manage Proof-of-Concept implementations
• Respond to requests for information and proposals
• Engage key partners and customers on the latest security technologies
• Participate actively in cybersecurity events

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years engineering and pre-sales experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of typical customer networks
• Ability to design comprehensive security solutions
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CCNP, CISSP, CCSA, CCSE)
• Eligibility to work in the US without current or future sponsorship

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Estimated base salary range $150,000 to $175,000
• Eligibility for additional compensation including annual bonus or sales incentives based on performance
