This is the job Join one of the largest cloud transformation projects in Europe, where over 1,000 applications are being migrated to the AWS Cloud. As part of the Security Team , you will play a key role in ensuring secure AWS configurations, compliance, and governance in a complex, multi-environment setup. This is you 5–7 years of professional experience in Cyber Security, with focus on AWS Cloud Security Architecture. Strong technical expertise with the Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem. In-depth knowledge of IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, Config, Security Hub, GuardDuty, and AWS Organizations. Experience with encryption, key management, and secure data classification. Understanding of secure internet protocols and their AWS implementations. Proficiency with Terraform (IaC) and CI/CD pipeline security. Experience designing and implementing PaaS solutions. Strong understanding of security and compliance frameworks for regulated industries. Excellent communication skills in Czech (Advanced) and English (Upper-Intermediate). AWS Certified Security – Specialty (SCS-C02/SCS-C03) certification would be a great plus. Familiarity with GDPR, ISO, NIS2, DORA standards and compliance. Knowledge of cloud cost management and security governance processes. Understanding of Agile and DevOps collaboration models. This is your role Design and implement secure architectures and controls for AWS environments. Manage and optimize AWS security services, including IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, Config, Security Hub, GuardDuty, and AWS Organizations. Develop and enforce Service Control Policies and security best practices across multiple AWS accounts. Ensure compliance with internal and external security and regulatory frameworks. Implement and monitor data protection mechanisms, including encryption and key management. Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Support Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) architecture design and cloud-native modernization initiatives. Contribute to monitoring and alerting processes to maintain visibility into cloud security posture. What awaits you at Avenga?
