Description Security Engineer Logging and Aggregation - Secret Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Security Engineer – Logging and Aggregation to support Cyber Primes cybersecurity, privacy, records and information management, and related enterprise support for DHRA, including DMDC and OUSD(P&R). Clearance: Active Secret Location: Alexandria, VA and Seaside, CA Responsibilities: Perform the comprehensive cybersecurity tool-monitoring responsibilities defined in PWS 5.3.1.1. Continuously validate that systems and applications are correctly configured for logging and that appropriate data-retention policies are in place. Maintain weekly records of logging coverage and configuration validation and document and escalate incorrectly configured systems or environments. Ensure integration with DHRA Cybersecurity Service Provider logging systems to maximize data available for analysis. Validate adherence to DoD and DMDC logging standards and support development of organizational logging standards. Apply LCAT expertise in security engineering, compliance checking, troubleshooting, and the design and implementation of network and security-management capabilities to logging oversight. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience. Must be U.S. Citizen A Secret clearance is required when the assigned duties require classified information or SIPRNet access. Compensation Range: The anticipated salary range the Employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is $94,000 to $149,000 annually.
