We are supporting our client in the search for a Security Solution Architect with deep Cryptography expertise to join its Global Technology Services (GTS) division.

This role offers the opportunity to shape enterprise-wide security architecture within a highly regulated financial environment while leading strategic initiatives focused on cryptography, PKI, crypto agility and future-ready security capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise security architectures aligned with business and technology strategies.
• Provide security guidance across infrastructure, applications, cloud and platform environments.
• Define architecture principles, standards and best practices for cryptography-related initiatives.
• Support the adoption of secure technologies and emerging security capabilities.
• Translate business requirements and risk assessments into architecture requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design secure solutions for new platforms and applications.
• Evaluate architecture options and recommend build, buy or hybrid approaches.
• Identify security gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Act as the subject matter expert for cryptography and related technologies.
• Participate in governance, architecture review and strategic planning activities.

Qualifications & Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Security or Enterprise Architecture.
• Strong Enterprise Architecture background.
• Strong understanding of:
• Cryptography
• PKI
• Key Management
• Crypto Agility
• Post-Quantum Cryptography
• Knowledge of network protocols and authentication mechanisms.
• Experience working across infrastructure, security, cloud and application domains.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Professional English mandatory.

Nice-to-Have

• TOGAF, SABSA, CISSP, CCSP or similar certifications.
• Experience within Financial Services or Critical Infrastructure environments.
• Agile / SAFe experience.
• Cloud Security expertise.
