We’re looking for a Senior Animator with hands-on experience in HTML5 slot games, strong Spine and After Effects skills, and practical experience with AI generation tools.

In this role, you will create polished animations that look great and meet the technical requirements of browser-based games. You should be comfortable working independently and collaborating closely with technical artists and developers.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality animations for slot game symbols, characters, backgrounds, UI transitions, and bonus features.
• Use Spine and After Effects to bring game assets to life.
• Create character animations, facial expressions, and visual effects that support the game’s style and features.
• Optimise animations for HTML5 browser games, balancing visual quality with technical performance.
• Prepare and deliver animation assets according to agreed production requirements.
• Work closely with technical artists and developers to ensure animations are correctly integrated into the game.
• Use AI generation tools as part of your creative workflow.
• Collaborate with artists and the Art Director to maintain visual consistency.
• Contribute ideas for animation sequences, transitions, and game features.
• Create promotional motion graphics when needed.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience in animation, with a portfolio demonstrating senior-level quality.
• Hands-on experience creating animations for HTML5 slot games.
• Advanced proficiency in Spine and Adobe After Effects.
• Practical experience using AI generation tools in animation or related creative work.
• Strong understanding of animation optimisation and the technical limitations of browser-based games.
• Experience working with technical artists and developers on asset requirements, integration, and performance.
• Solid understanding of timing, spacing, easing, anticipation, and other animation principles.
• Strong skills in character animation, facial animation, and VFX.
• Ability to choose effective animation solutions without unnecessary technical complexity.
• Ability to work independently, solve production problems, and deliver polished assets.
• English at B2 level or above, with the ability to explain technical and creative decisions.

Nice to Have

• Experience creating promotional videos, trailers, or marketing animations.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Familiarity with Figma for UI collaboration.
• Experience across other game engines or platforms, alongside relevant HTML5 slot experience.
