Game Mathematicians
As a Spine 2D Animator, you will work closely with 2D Artists, game designers, the Head of Product, and developers to create animations that make our slot games visually dynamic and emotionally engaging.
Animator’s Stack
Spine (essential), After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator (for source assets), generative AI tools (for routine), Pixi.js integration basics, and other animation/optimization tools.
Key Responsibilities (First 3 Months)
Create high-quality 2D animations for slot game elements (symbols, characters, UI transitions, logos, effects, etc.).
Rig and animate assets provided by the art team, ensuring smooth and polished movements.
Collaborate with developers to integrate animations seamlessly into the game client.
Work with the Head of Product and game designers to bring original mechanics and visual concepts to life.
Optimize Spine projects for performance across desktop and mobile platforms.
Ensure animations align with the studio’s quality standards in slot art and animation.

Required Experience
3+ years of commercial experience as a Spine Animator (gaming industry strongly preferred).
Slot production experience is a must-have.
A stunning animation portfolio demonstrating strong rigging, timing, and visual storytelling in slot/casino games.
Experience optimizing Spine projects (bones, atlases, draw calls, layering).
Understanding of asset preparation and export pipelines.
Familiarity with sound synchronization in animations is an advantage.
English Level
Upper-Intermediate (B2) or above.
⚡ Note: The team is mostly Russian/Ukrainian-speaking, so familiarity with either is a plus.
Work Format
Fully remote setup with a distributed international team.
Flexible work hours with alignment to GMT+2 time zone when needed.
Employment Type
Basic Service Agreement (BSA) contract with our Cyprus-based company.
Includes NDA agreement to protect intellectual property.
Compensation
$13–$18 per hour for Middle+/Senior level, based on experience and portfolio.
