Role
We are looking for a senior ABAP Technical QA Lead to review and assure the quality of ABAP developments delivered by external development factories/integrators. This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong ABAP programming expertise, SAP HANA/SQL knowledge, and the ability to lead and coordinate multiple development partners.
Key Responsibilities
Perform technical QA reviews of ABAP developments and code.
Assess code quality, maintainability, performance, technical design and standards.
Identify technical risks, issues and improvement areas.
Provide technical feedback and drive corrective actions.
Coordinate multiple external/offshore development teams and integrators.
Act as senior technical point of contact for development partners.
Challenge technical decisions and ensure high-quality delivery.
Establish consistent development and QA practices.
Provide technical leadership, guidance and mentoring.
Mandatory Requirements
15+ years of SAP/ABAP experience.
Expert-level ABAP programming skills.
SAP HANA mandatory.
Strong SQL mandatory.
Proven experience in ABAP code review / Technical QA.
Experience leading/coordinating development teams or external integrators.
Experience with offshore/nearshore development partners.
Strong leadership, organisation and stakeholder-management skills.
Exceptional written and spoken English.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
