About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Microsoft Identity & Access Management Engineer to provide hands-on engineering and operational support for enterprise identity services.

You will work across Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory, support hybrid identity environments, drive the migration of application dependencies toward Entra ID, and contribute to the continuous improvement of IAM services.

The role also involves collaboration with engineering teams, mentoring other team members, supporting vendor partners, and acting as a technical subject matter expert on identity-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on engineering and operational support for Microsoft identity and access management services.
• Secure and maintain enterprise identities across Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory.
• Support the migration of application dependencies and authentication integrations to Microsoft Entra ID.
• Manage and troubleshoot hybrid identity and authentication environments.
• Provide operational support for critical IAM services, including participation in weekend on-call rotations.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions that enhance service reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with peer engineers and mentor team members on Microsoft identity technologies and best practices.
• Work with Tier 2 vendor partners to ensure compliance with defined operational standards and best practices.
• Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) on IAM projects, ensuring solutions are reliable, operationally sound, and fully supportable.
• Support escalations related to Identity and Access Management services.
• Provide technical consultation and guidance to stakeholders regarding IAM solutions and best practices.
• Contribute to incident, problem, and change management processes in line with established IT service management practices.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience supporting and operating Microsoft Identity services in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, Active Directory, ADFS, Microsoft PKI / AD CS, AD-integrated DNS, and hybrid identity and authentication.
• Expert-level knowledge of Identity & Access Management concepts, including authentication, authorization, federation, identity lifecycle management, PIM, PAM, and RBAC.
• Strong experience with enterprise identity operations, troubleshooting, service stability, and continuous improvement.
• Experience supporting IAM migrations and application authentication integrations, particularly migration toward Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience working with vendors, engineering teams, and business stakeholders in an enterprise environment.
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
• Willingness to participate in regular weekend on-call rotations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• ITIL certification is a plus, while practical experience with ITIL processes and ServiceNow is highly advantageous.
