Role Description

We're hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our internal development team. This is not a support role and it is not a learn-on-the-job role. You'll be the engineer carrying projects from architecture through production release, often alongside the creative director and the project manager as a technical partner, not under close supervision.

This is a hands-on role with a hybrid work arrangement allowing up to 4 days remote work.

Required qualifications

• 6-8 years in full stack engineering roles, with a track record of owning production systems and working with fast-moving teams
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript across the stack: React and Next.js on the front end, Node.js on the back end
• Strong command of relational data modelling, PostgreSQL, and API design (REST and GraphQL)
• Demonstrated ability to turn Figma designs into accurate, responsive, accessible interfaces without a designer checking every screen
• Experience building and maintaining third-party integrations: payment gateways, ERPs, webhooks, and data sync between systems
• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP), CI/CD, monitoring, and application security fundamentals
• A GitHub profile or live products showing at least 3 systems you built or led, with a clear account of your part in each
• Fluent, client-ready communication in English and Romanian
• Experience planning and delegating work: You know how to break a project down into estimable tasks, hand off clearly, and review code without micromanaging
• Demonstrated fluency with agentic AI coding tools in a real engineering workflow: You use them to move faster and lift the quality of your output, not as a novelty
• Self-directed work ethic and the judgment to make and defend technical decisions

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus: Liquid themes, custom apps, Admin and Storefront APIs
• Experience with B2B/SaaS platforms or the retail/eCommerce sector
• Experience working directly with international (especially US) clients
• Experience building LLM-powered features, MCP servers, or automation workflows (n8n or similar)
• Familiarity with React Native or other mobile frameworks
• Experience building fully responsive web interfaces

What you'll own

• Build front ends that match the design to the pixel and hold up under real traffic
• Design and build APIs and integrations between client systems such as storefronts, ERPs, PIMs, and analytics
• Set and uphold engineering standards: code review, testing, documentation, and release process
• Present and defend technical decisions directly to clients and stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with design from the first wireframe to ensure what is designed can be built, and what is built matches the design
• Use agentic AI tools to accelerate your work, from scoping and scaffolding to implementation, testing, and documentation
• Manage your own timelines, milestones, and deliverables with minimal oversight
