Position Overview The Senior Account Executive, Digital Sales is accountable for building and growing REALTOR.ca’s direct digital advertising revenue through consultative sales to brands, agencies, media buyers, and strategic partners. The role reports to the Head of Revenue & Partnerships and exists to answer a central question for REALTOR.ca: how do we responsibly translate our trusted brand, high-traffic audience, premium inventory, and Canadian real estate ecosystem position into compelling advertising opportunities for the market? The mandate is both revenue-generating and strategically important: grow direct advertising revenue while helping establish the sales foundation, packaging, narratives, and client relationships required to build a scalable advertising business. Key Responsibilities Direct Advertising Revenue Growth Build, manage, and grow a pipeline of direct digital advertising opportunities across brands, agencies, media buyers, and strategic partners. Sell premium digital advertising campaigns, sponsorships, custom media programs, and audience-based packages aligned to advertiser objectives. Own sales targets, pipeline development, account planning, client outreach, and revenue forecasting for direct advertising opportunities. Identify new revenue opportunities across display, sponsorship, content-adjacent opportunities, audience packages, seasonal programs, and strategic partnerships. Advertiser, Agency, and Partner Relationships Develop and maintain senior relationships with advertisers, media agencies, trading desks, brand marketers, and strategic commercial partners. Represent REALTOR.ca professionally in meetings with advertisers, agencies, and industry partners. Lead consultative sales conversations that connect advertiser goals with REALTOR.ca’s audience, inventory, brand position, and campaign opportunities. Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, campaign scope, renewals, and expansion opportunities with professionalism and sound business judgment. Advertising Packaging and Sales Enablement Work with internal teams to package REALTOR.ca’s audience, inventory, and advertising solutions into compelling, commercially viable sales offerings. Use Google Ad Manager 360 insights, inventory data, campaign performance, and forecasting inputs to support proposals, pricing discussions, and client conversations. Partner with Marketing and Product departments to create advertiser-facing materials, sales narratives, case studies, audience stories, and go-to-market collateral. Help shape scalable advertising packages that are easy to explain, operationally executable, and aligned to REALTOR.ca’s brand and consumer experience. Campaign Strategy and Execution Partnership Ensure sold campaigns are executable, properly trafficked, optimized, and delivered against agreed objectives. Translate campaign performance, audience, inventory, and market insights into advertiser value propositions and renewal opportunities. Maintain effective communication between clients, agencies, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Partnership teams throughout the sales and campaign lifecycle. Support post-campaign reviews, advertiser satisfaction, renewal discussions, and continuous improvement of sales and delivery practices. Sales Performance and Commercial Discipline Track pipeline, revenue forecasts, client activity, proposal status, campaign wins, renewals, and sales performance using CRM and agreed reporting practices. Apply disciplined account prioritization, follow-up, forecasting, and opportunity management to support reliable revenue growth. Provide market feedback, advertiser insight, pricing perspective, and competitive intelligence to inform advertising strategy and packaging decisions. Skills & Qualifications Minimum 6 years of experience selling digital advertising, media, ad technology, or brand partnership solutions. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding advertising revenue targets. Experience selling directly to brands, agencies, and media buyers. Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including advertising formats, campaign planning, CPM pricing, sponsorships, audience targeting, media buying, and performance measurement. Ability to translate audience, inventory, and campaign performance data into compelling advertiser value propositions. Experience with CRM systems, pipeline management, sales forecasting, and performance reporting. Working knowledge of Google Ad Manager 360 or a comparable ad-serving, inventory-forecasting, or campaign-management platform. Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-management skills. Assets Knowledge of the Canadian advertising and media landscape, particularly within the real estate or financial services sectors. Established relationships with media agencies, brand marketers, trading desks, or other advertising decision-makers. High-quality campaign execution, advertiser satisfaction, and meaningful post-campaign insights. The annual base salary range for this role is $120,000–$150,000.
