Our client, a well-established accounting practice based inKildare, is looking to recruit a talentedSenior Accountantto join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experiencedSenior Accountantseeking a varied role within a supportive and professional environment. The successfulSenior Accountantwill have strong accounts preparation experience and the ability to guide, mentor, and support junior team members while managing a diverse client portfolio. ThisSenior Accountantposition offers exposure to a broad range of clients and excellent career progression opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare statutory Financial Statements for submission to the Companies Registration Office (CRO).
• Prepare and finalise sole trader and partnership accounts, ensuring compliance with Revenue requirements.
• Manage a portfolio of SME clients across a range of industries, delivering high-quality accounting services.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients, providing guidance on day-to-day business and financial matters.

Requirements:

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent) with 3+ years post-qualification experience in practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Proven experience managing client portfolios and delivering a high standard of service as aSenior Accountant.
• Previous experience mentoring, supporting, and reviewing the work of junior team members is highly desirable.
