To strengthen our Finance team, we are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant / Certified Accountant (m/f/d) with solid expertise in German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS . In this diverse role, you will be responsible for financial accounting and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. You will serve as a key contact for reporting to our Swiss parent company and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders. In addition, depending on your interests and experience, this position offers the opportunity to actively contribute to controlling activities such as forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, while helping to further develop the finance function. Your Responsibilities Ensure the timely preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Monitor and coordinate intercompany reconciliation processes and ensure compliance with group-wide accounting policies. Perform and manage intercompany reconciliations. Independently oversee sub-ledger accounting activities. Support consolidation and financial reporting processes. Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements under German GAAP (HGB). Support tax-related matters and inquiries. Assist with VAT returns and other tax filings. Support the annual budgeting process. Successfully completed commercial training with further qualification as a Certified Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter IHK) or a university degree with a focus on Accounting, Finance, or Tax. Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally within an international business environment. Strong knowledge of IFRS and German GAAP (HGB). Proficiency in DATEV. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills. Good written and spoken German and English skills. Independent, reliable, and results-oriented working style, combined with a structured mindset and a high level of integrity.
