Senior Accountant

We're hiring: Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper (Remote, LATAM)

BoutiqueExec is recruiting for a Canadian fractional CFO firm that serves small and mid-sized businesses. They care about great work, smart technology and strong client partnerships, and they're looking for a Senior Accountant who can own client files end to end.

What you'll do

• Full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients, independently

• Month-end and year-end close (journal entries, accruals, prepayments)

• Clearing, deferred revenue and investment accounts

• Bank and credit card reconciliations

• AP/AR management and client follow-up on missing documents

• GST/HST and PST filings

• Payroll processing and filing

• Financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

• Direct client communication: explaining the numbers and sharing clear insights

Must-haves

• Accounting degree or CPA

• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience

• 3+ years in QuickBooks Online, and currently using it with real clients

• Fluent English, with excellent written and spoken communication skills and confidence leading client calls

• Available to work PST hours (8am to 4pm), at least at the start

Nice to have

• GST/HST/PST experience (a big plus)

• HubDoc, Double, Bill.com, Dext, Gusto, Payworks or similar

• Tech-savvy and keen on AI tools
