Role Summary As an Accountant, your tasks will include planning and directing all accounting operational functions, managing the accumulation and consolidation of financial information for internal and external financial statements, assessing accounting and internal control systems. In addition, your responsibilities will include key decision making and challenging, negotiating and influencing the team. Impact you will make on the role: Responsible for providing internal and external auditors with information to comply with IFRS/US GAAP regulatory requirements and internal audit requirements Work closely with members of Global Accounting team and partners to ensure that firm-wide operation is efficient and effective Manage monthly and annual close of income statement and balance sheet, the reconciliations of accounts, and G/L analysis Financial Statement preparation and review Participate in close, review and consolidation of the US Group including international subsidiaries Analyze, apply and improve policies, procedures, controls and methodologies Assist with creation of and monthly monitoring of the yearly budget and forecasts Assist with management of finance department operations, including accounts payable and payroll Research, prepare and execute Finance Department initiatives such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as required Expertise you will bring in: Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance Exceptional Accounting Knowledge 3+ years’ experience in Accounting, Experience with Software industry is a plus International accounting experience is an advantage A highly productive self-starter with very strong work ethic and commitment to excellence Strong accountability and detail oriented; prepares accurate and timely work product Ability to work independently and thrive, and be a team player Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations Superior organization skills and the ability to prioritize Ability to adapt to the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environment Excellent computer skills with MS Office software, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, (NetSuite a plus!)
