Senior Accountant - Cyprus

Responsibilities: Verify the accuracy of data and data processing of accounting and bookkeeping records. Assist in the preparation of year-end consolidated financial statements, as well as standalone financial statements of the company. Collaborate closely and coordinate effectively with internal and external auditors. Perform revenue and costs analysis to support financial decision-making. Execute and record payments and bank transactions, ensuring accurate reflection in the accounting records. Reconcile client funds and ensure proper tracking of balances. Prepare daily balances reports for all bank accounts. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations and principles. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records information. Requirements: University degree in Accounting and Finance, Economics, or a related field. ACA/ACCA qualification will be considered an advantage. Previous experience of at least 2 years in a similar position. Previous experience in Financial/ Banking/ FX industry will be considered an advantage. IT literate (excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools). Excellent knowledge of the English language, both verbal and written. Excellent organizational and management skills and ability to lead a team. Attention to detail and quality of work. Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced and tight deadline-driven environment.
