About your future role

You’ll be part of the Swiss Finance Team. Location is in Gland (Vaud).

Key tasks and responsibilities are:

• Support the CFO/Head of Finance to drive the operational accounting processes (i.e. Accounts Receivables incl. Dunning, Invoicing and Accounts Payables) in an efficient manner.
• Active participation in operational accounting activities to ensure timely processing and prevent the accumulation of backlogs that could negatively impact the business.
• Ensuring that operational accounting processes documentation is well documented and regularly updated for continuous process improvements purposes.
• Preparation and management of the monthly close process, reporting and reconciliations in close collaboration with his peer (i.e. Accounting Manager/Sr Accountant), including the quarterly VAT reporting to the tax authorities.
• Back-up to Accounts Receivables, Invoicing and Accounts Payables processes where needed and required, including as well responding to customers inquiries.

• Support the CFO/Head of Finance on ad-hoc requirements when needed.

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:

Education:

• Certified Accountant or in progress (must have)
• Bachelor or master's degree in Finance / Accounting or related field

Additional qualifications:

• Proficient PC skills (MS Office), in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
• S4/HANA experience on financial modules (must).
• Process Management documentation tool experience such as Visio.
• Native French with advanced business English (a need), German advanced a plus

Skills:

• Process management and documentation skills
• Good ability to solve problems and think out of the box, with an innovative mindset.
• Good presentation skills, also in larger groups (face-to-face/remote) in English.

Professional experience:

• Several years of experience in operational accounting processes either in a Shared Service center, or in a similar operational accounting role with evolving responsibilities.
