Senior Accountant - Remote (Contract- part-time)

Overview of the role: Responsibilities include but not limited to: Assist with the month-end close process, prepare journal entries and reconciliations Assist with monthly variance analysis and investigate variances Support operational accounting functions such as AR, AP, Payroll, Finance on an as-needed basis Assist with technical accounting guidance research for accounting issues such as Revenue Recognition & Lease Accounting or as needed Assist with various inventory-related accounting tasks such as reconciliation, cost/valuation, analyzing slow-moving/excess & obsolete inventory Assist with various deliverables to support the preparation of the financial statements and/or requests for information from all business functions Assist with any internal and external audits, tax preparation support, and quarterly reviews Assist with any other ad hoc analysis, reports, or analytics as needed Credentials & Experience: Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance 5 years of accounting experience Proficiency in the U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Services Board (FASB) rules and standards Experience with major ERP systems and proficiency in excel Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification (preferred) Experience with external audit with a Big 4 or large Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Firm (preferred) Must be available to work during regular business hours To apply: Senior Accountant (Contract- part-time) HubOrgs Inc | Career Page (careers-page.com) To learn more about us : HubOrgs
