We’re hiring a full-time
Senior Accountant, Section 8 & Federal Reporting
for our Finance & Accounting Division.
As a Senior Accountant, you will drive key accounting functions that contribute to our mission. In this role, you will:
Prepare and submit accurate, timely monthly reports of unit and Housing Assistance Payment activity through federal reporting systems.
Interpret and apply federal accounting regulations to financial transactions, reporting requirements, and accounting processes.
Maintain and enhance accounting processes and systems that support rental assistance programs and federal compliance.
Prepare financial reports and statements for federal agencies and serve as a key resource for questions related to rental assistance reporting.
Collaborate across departments to ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance, and effective financial stewardship of public funds.
Your experience, skills, and education should include:
Ability to read, write and speak English at a proficient level.
Strong accounting knowledge and experience.
Strong ability to leverage computerized financial and accounting systems.
Experience with Microsoft 365 suite.
Government or fund accounting included in accounting coursework preferred or related certifications such as the NH Government Accounting Certificate.
Eight to Nine years relevant work experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.

Starting Pay:
$64,000 - $78,000, dependent on relevant experience
