Senior Accountant/Accountant - Middle East

We are looking for experienced resources to join our team for a Power & Energy company in the Middle East. This position will be based in Sri Lanka. Our client is a developer, investor and operator of power generation and desalinated water plants with 64 assets in operation, construction, or advanced development across 13 countries, with an investment value in excess 66 Billion. Responsibilities Execute monthly. quarterly. and year-end closure processes with ownership of Trial Balance. Prepare monthly financial statements as per deadlines. Prepare all month end schedules and reconciliations. Involved in all accounting operations including. A/R. A/P & GL. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Work closely with the Finance Manager / Financial Controller & client teams. Assist in training new staff. Requirements Final level of CA Sri Lanka/CIMA/ACCA or Degree holder in Commerce, Business Management/ Finance from a reputed university. Have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity of hands-on experience in finalization of monthly accounts. Working knowledge of Accounting Standards. Experience with reputed ERP systems. Working knowledge of Oracle and HFM is preferred. Advanced Excel skills. Ability and willingness to work based on client calendar and working hours. Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Age between 25-40. Flexible hybrid working opportunities from office and home.
