Senior Accounting and Financial Officer

Founded in 2008 in Thailand, we have a team of 50+ professionals comprising everything from developers, designers, copywriters to project managers, SEO specialists and client support agents. Our founder has a Microsoft background and an American west-coast approach to running a company: You’ll be joining a diverse, international team that works hard, has fun, and respects each other and our clients.

• Participate in developing and documenting policies and procedures to ensure full statutory, accounting, tax and legal compliance
• Provide advice, identify the potential risk and suggest the improvement regarding financial and accounting management to related functions.
• Participate in liaising with external auditors and manage internal controls.
• Liaise with banks, revenue department and government pirates (if any)
• Manage and involve the preparation of all financial reporting, budget and other relevant reports.
• Conduct accounting recording and manage the completeness and accuracy of all accounting’s information records within timeline given
• Manage all tax filing/transaction (Corporate Income Tax (CIT), VAT and withholding tax, and etc.) for compliance and correctness
• Monitor overall unusual transactions, long-outstanding open items account on BS, and prepare adjustment or reclassification if needed
• Support update of the project management and accounting software regularly
• Performs other related duties assigned by Supervisor

• Proven work experience as a Financial and Accounting Supervisor, or similar role.
• In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation, and bookkeeping.
• Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
• Good organisational and attention-to-detail and leadership skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA or relevant certification (e.g. CPA) is also a plus.
