We're searching for a Senior Affiliate Partnership Manager to own the day-to-day performance of Bold's affiliate channel and move it to a data-driven, in-house model.
You'll take over partner management, run a roster of roughly 3,000 partners across Impact.com, Commission Junction, and Everflow, and build the onboarding, reporting, and review processes the program needs to scale. This is an analytical, operator role: you'll read the numbers, find what's driving them, and work with partners on concrete improvements. AI tools are central to how this team works, and you'll use them every day.
About This Team
Our Business Development team drives growth across the Affiliate Program, key partnerships, and initiatives like Monster Missions. You'll report to Ethan Bloomfield, VP of Business Development, who runs a results-first team: you'll have real ownership and room to operate independently.
You'll work regularly with Finance on commissions, invoicing, and budget, and with our SEM team, a close neighbor to affiliates. The channel spans BOLD-US, FlexJobs, Sonara.Ai, MyPerfectResume, Resume-Now, ResumeBuilder, Zety, and LiveCareer.
What You’ll Do
- Own day-to-day partner management: Manage affiliate partners across Impact.com (about 60% of the program), Commission Junction, and Everflow. Review, approve, and reject affiliate applications, and answer partner questions quickly and accurately.
- Lead the in-house transition: Take over channel management from our VP, Business Development, becoming Bold's primary day-to-day contact for affiliate partners and networks, with the handoff.
- Build a structured onboarding process: Design and document a repeatable onboarding process for new partners, replacing today's ad hoc approach.
- Run data-driven partner reviews: Introduce monthly reviews or QBRs with premier partners, grounded in performance data and clear improvement plans.
- Analyze and improve performance: Track conversion rate, cost per click, cost per registration, cost per subscription, lifetime value, renewal rates, and top-of-funnel metrics. Turn what you find into specific strategies to discuss with partners.
- Grow the roster: Prospect new partners through affiliate platforms, LinkedIn, email, and phone, and reactivate dormant partners with growth potential.
- Represent Bold at industry events: Attend affiliate conferences such as Affiliate Summit West, roughly once a quarter on average.
- Work AI-first: Use AI tools (like Claude, gemini, or Chatgpt) daily for analysis, reporting, partner communication, and workflow automation.
- Establish channel operations: Document processes, partner-communication templates, reporting cadences, and playbooks so channel knowledge lives with the team, not one person.
- Support platform decisions: Contribute to evaluating additional affiliate platforms as the program grows.
What You’ll Need
- Affiliate experience: 5+ years in affiliate or performance marketing, including time running affiliate partners independently. Strong candidates with somewhat less experience who show the core skills below will be considered.
- Platform expertise: Hands-on experience with major affiliate networks and management platforms. Impact.com experience is strongly preferred.
- Performance marketing fluency: A working command of affiliate terminology and KPIs, and a clear understanding of the ecosystem: brands and advertisers on one side, publishers, content creators, and networks on the other.
- Data orientation: Comfort reading performance data, spotting what's driving results, and turning it into practical recommendations.
- Professional AI use: Active use of AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT in your work today. Examples of automating workflows or building agents are a strong plus.
- Independent ownership: You work autonomously, own outcomes, and need minimal direction.
- Clear communication: Written and verbal skills strong enough for partner meetings, reviews, and industry events.
What's Good to Have
- Experience with Commission Junction or Everflow in addition to Impact.com
- Experience on the publisher side as well as the advertiser side of affiliate marketing
- SEM experience or a solid working knowledge of paid search
- Past attendance at Affiliate Summit East or West
- Familiarity with job search, career services, HR tech, or subscription businesses
