Senior AI Consultant / Developer – Budapest, Hungary – Hybrid/Remote

Empiric are supporting a leading global automotive organisation on a critical AI development requirement in Budapest, Hungary.

This is a high-priority opportunity for an experienced AI Consultant / Developer to deliver scalable AI applications, with a strong focus on Python, Large Language Models, prompt engineering and DevOps.

You’ll be responsible for developing AI agents and intelligent assistance systems, taking use cases from proof of concept through to production. You’ll also advise business teams, define reusable AI standards and architectures, and ensure secure, stable and cost-effective production operation.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on Python development experience.
• Practical experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Strong prompt engineering skills.
• Experience developing AI applications, AI agents and intelligent assistance systems.
• Proven experience delivering AI use cases from proof of concept through to production.
• Experience integrating AI solutions into existing applications and enterprise systems.
• Strong DevOps experience, including deployment and ongoing production operation.
• Ability to advise business stakeholders and translate requirements into practical AI solutions.
• Experience defining reusable AI standards and architectures.
• Understanding of security, reliability and cost management for production AI applications.
• German and English language skills.

• Experience delivering AI solutions within automotive or manufacturing environments.
• Experience building reusable AI components and development frameworks.
• Experience monitoring and optimising production AI application performance.
• Experience supporting AI adoption across multiple business teams.

Location: Budapest, Hungary

Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience
