The Senior AI DevOps Engineer is a senior technical leadership position responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable, and highly compliant cloud architectures across both Azure and AWS for core banking and AI platforms. Operating at the intersection of enterprise architecture and automated platform engineering, this role translates complex business requirements into robust high-level (HLD) and low-level designs (LLD). The successful candidate leads the institution's hybrid-cloud strategy, FinOps optimization, and zero-trust security implementations, ensuring all cloud-native platforms maintain absolute alignment with financial regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO/IEC 27001) while providing technical mentorship to engineering squads. You responsibilities within this role include: Hybrid Cloud Architectural Design: Architect and engineer secure, resilient multi-cloud infrastructures spanning Azure and AWS, creating comprehensive high-level and low-level technical designs. Security, Compliance & Governance: Implement enterprise-grade cloud governance frameworks, enforcing automated compliance-as-code and zero-trust network boundaries to meet strict financial regulatory baselines. FinOps & Resource Optimization: Establish cloud cost-management frameworks and resource optimization strategies to ensure high-performance infrastructure remains cost-effective. CI/CD & Pipeline Governance: Design and secure end-to-end multi-cloud deployment pipelines, embedding automated vulnerability gating, code auditing, and deployment compliance controls. Technical & Stakeholder Leadership: Act as a key technical advisor to senior business units and risk committees, defending architectural decisions and technical risk trade-offs clearly. Engineering Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to mid-level engineering and development teams, driving best practices in infrastructure automation, cloud routing, and identity management.
