DEVELOPMENT TEAM Join the team building the AI foundation for how intelligent systems will operate across the business. This is not a research role and not a prompt-only role - it’s about building real, production-grade AI products that integrate directly into our existing ecosystem, power new AI-driven services from the ground up, and help shape the company’s AI intelligence gateway. You’ll take on high-ownership, high-impact work: shaping our internal AI platform, designing reusable building blocks for AI applications, and enabling teams across the company to build securely, consistently, and at scale. In this role, you’ll also contribute to defining how AI capabilities are accessed, orchestrated, and governed across the organization through our AI intelligence gateway. Everything we build is designed with security, modularity, and scalability as first principles. YOU You are a strong full-stack engineer with hands-on experience building production AI systems. You know how to turn LLM capabilities into reliable, useful product features that people actually adopt. You’re comfortable working across APIs, LLM tooling, MCP-based integrations, agents, RAG systems, and vector databases in real production environments. You move quickly, make pragmatic decisions, and improve systems iteratively based on real usage and feedback. WHAT YOU’LL DO Build and own AI systems and standardised templates for AI-powered applications and services Help define and evolve the internal AI platform that enables teams across the company Design and ship full-stack features using TypeScript (Node.js) and React/Next.js, owning both backend logic and frontend experience Build integrations with key business systems (Slack, Jira, GitHub/GitLab, CRM, Drive, BI tools, etc.) Design scalable APIs and event-driven workflows that remain maintainable as complexity grows Develop AI features using LLM APIs (structured outputs, tool use, streaming, prompt/context engineering, and cost optimisation) Implement RAG-based solutions using SQL, well-structured data models, and vector databases Build agentic workflows including planning loops, tool execution, retries, evaluation, and failure handling Rapidly prototype solutions, validate with real users, and iterate to improve performance, reliability, observability, and UX WHAT WE EXPECT Proven experience building production-grade APIs, integrations, and full-stack systems Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic), including tool use, structured outputs, streaming, and cost control Strong understanding of MCP, agentic workflows, prompt/context engineering, and RAG systems Experience implementing OAuth 2.0 authentication and secure authorization flows Strong TypeScript/Node.js and React experience for building modern web applications Experience working with SQL, practical data modelling, and at least one vector database Comfort working with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, and self-hosted or restricted deployment environments Strong engineering judgment with the ability to balance speed, quality, and complexity Security-aware mindset, especially around authentication, permissions, and sensitive data handling Product-minded and execution-focused, with a bias toward shipping useful AI systems that deliver real value NICE TO HAVE Have hands-on experience building AI-powered internal tools, Slack apps or bots, and complex integrations across business systems Have worked with n8n, observability tooling, evals, or regression testing for LLM-based products Bring strong product and domain-thinking, with a good feel for how to turn emerging AI capabilities into scalable, useful solutions WHAT YOU GET Health & Well-being – Private health insurance with mental health coverage (including psychotherapy sessions), in-house physiotherapy , and access to premium wellness apps and fitness resources Time to Recharge – Paid sick days and extra vacation days that grow the longer you’re with us Continuous Growth – Deep focus on individual progress, backed by the 70/20/10 development model and a variety of L&D initiatives that help boost performance all year round.
