Role Description The Senior AI Engineer role is a full-time, remote position responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI models and systems. Day-to-day work includes researching and implementing state-of-the-art algorithms, building and refining neural network architectures, and optimizing models for performance, reliability, and scalability. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional partners to translate product requirements into technical solutions, contributing to open-source projects, and maintaining high-quality, well-documented code. The Senior AI Engineer will also review peer work, mentor teammates, and drive best practices in AI engineering, data handling, and evaluation methodologies.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Computer Science and Software Development skills, including data structures, algorithms, and experience with modern programming languages (such as Python, C++, or Java).
• Candidates should possess expertise in Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks, with hands-on experience designing, training, and evaluating deep learning models.
• Candidates should possess practical skills in Natural Language Processing (NLP), including working with language models, text processing pipelines, and evaluation metrics.
• Candidates should possess experience with AI/ML tooling and infrastructure, such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, model deployment frameworks, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, clear written and verbal communication skills, and the capacity to work independently in a remote, distributed team.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience; prior experience in senior or lead AI/ML engineering roles is highly beneficial.
• Experience contributing to open-source projects, familiarity with MLOps practices, and a demonstrated interest in transparent and ethical AI development are advantageous.
