Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on AI Engineer to design and develop an enterprise AI Assistant for Institutional Bankers. The solution will use Generative AI and Agentic AI to help bankers access enterprise knowledge, obtain contextual insights, and interact with banking systems and tools through natural language.

The role combines strong AI engineering with backend/API development, with a focus on building secure, scalable, production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI applications using LLMs, Generative AI and Agentic AI.
• Build RAG solutions for retrieving and synthesizing information from enterprise knowledge sources.
• Develop AI agents capable of reasoning, tool calling, and multi-step workflow execution.
• Implement MCP and other patterns for securely connecting AI agents with enterprise tools and systems.
• Design context engineering and memory strategies for conversational and agent-based applications.
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python and frameworks such as FastAPI.
• Implement AI guardrails, security controls, grounding, evaluation, monitoring, and observability.
• Build automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for AI and backend services.
• Work with architects, engineers, and banking stakeholders to deliver solutions from PoC through production.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLM application development.
• Experience designing Agentic AI solutions and AI agent workflows.
• Strong knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector search, document retrieval, and reranking.
• Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and LLM tool/function calling.
• Good understanding of Context Engineering, conversational context, and AI memory.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Experience with backend and REST API development, preferably FastAPI.
• Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including deploying and operating cloud-based applications.
• Experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud deployment.
• Understanding of AI security, guardrails, prompt injection, data privacy, and access control.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Institutional Banking, Corporate Banking, or Financial Services.
• Experience with vector databases or enterprise search platforms.
• Knowledge of OAuth/OIDC, Kubernetes, LLMOps/MLOps, and enterprise security.
