Senior AI & Machine Learning Engineer

We are looking for a Senior AI & Machine Learning Engineer to support the design and evolution of our clients' AI and machine learning platform. You will help build scalable ML/LLM solutions, develop robust model pipelines, and enable production-grade AI capabilities that support data-driven decision making across the organization. Key Responsibilities Design and implement machine learning models, including deep learning, time-series forecasting, recommendation systems, and LLM-based solutions Build and manage end-to-end ML/LLM pipelines, from experimentation through production deployment Fine-tune or prompt-engineer foundation models (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face) for domain-specific use cases Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures using vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Azure Cognitive Search) Contribute to solution architecture for real-time and batch AI use cases, including conversational AI, enterprise search, and summarization Collaborate with data scientists, cloud engineers, and product teams to translate business needs into production-ready AI features Apply best practices for model monitoring, security, and governance across ML environments Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers Requirements 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, AI/ML platform engineering, or related roles Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn) Hands-on experience with LLM/GenAI tooling: LangChain, Hugging Face Transformers, or similar orchestration frameworks Experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Solid understanding of MLOps practices — CI/CD for ML, model versioning, monitoring Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with large-scale data processing Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Good communication and collaboration skills Nice to Have Experience with AWS Bedrock or comparable managed GenAI services Cloud certification (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure AI Engineer, Terraform Associate) Familiarity with IoT, edge analytics, or smart-building/industrial systems Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tooling (e.g., Terraform) for provisioning ML environments Knowledge of data privacy and governance considerations for enterprise LLM use What we offer Full-time employment or contract-based agreement For the Macedonia-based employees: Working from home possibility Private health insurance Monthly Gym membership Access to education and professional improvement Working with great people in a culture that supports both autonomy and collaboration Office perks: great location, modern equipment, unlimited coffee & tea, fruits, spacious lounge area Team-building activities
