Our Team: How we enrich everyday life
You will be joining the AI JCT — Joint Capability Team — a collaborative, internal group focused on helping Bauer Media Group use AI in practical, responsible, and impactful ways. The team’s mission is to pioneer AI-driven solutions that can be rapidly prototyped, improved through feedback, and scaled where they can deliver meaningful business value.
Working across Bauer’s markets, the AI JCT partners with teams to identify opportunities, build useful tools, support adoption, and share knowledge. You’ll help make AI accessible, useful, and effective across the organisation.
The Difference you will make
As Senior AI Product Manager, you will translate Bauer’s AI strategy into clear product initiatives for shared tooling used across the Group, serving approximately 12,000 employees. You’ll own the product direction from discovery through delivery and adoption, combining a strong product mindset with deep AI knowledge to ensure tools are useful, trusted, scalable, and aligned with user needs.
This is a role for an experienced, user-focused and technically sophisticated AI product leader who brings maturity and structure to complex challenges. You will spend much of your time partnering with engineers and senior AI leaders across other lines of business, while using strong people skills to align stakeholders, test assumptions, learn from users, and turn emerging AI capabilities into products that create measurable value.
Your role
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of AI products and initiatives, with a particular focus on shared Group-wide tooling across Audio, Publishing, Outdoor and Central Functions across nine markets. Acting as the bridge between users, engineering teams, other JCTs, and senior AI leaders across Bauer Media Group, you will define product outcomes, guide delivery, and use evidence to improve products throughout their lifecycle.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Translate AI strategy into clear product initiatives, priorities and delivery plans for shared Group-wide tooling.
- Lead continuous user discovery, user research, usability testing, and requirements gathering to understand needs, validate assumptions, and improve the E2E experience.
- Manage AI product and service development across the full lifecycle, from discovery and prototyping through launch, adoption, measurement, and iteration.
- Partner closely with engineers to shape technically credible solutions, navigate trade-offs, and support testing, iteration, integration, and launch.
- Understand and shape integrations, connectors, knowledge graphs, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) based capabilities so products work effectively within Bauer’s technology ecosystem.
- Support adoption and AI literacy by helping teams understand product capabilities, limitations, responsible use, and best practice.
- Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration across Bauer’s markets, reusing capabilities and reducing duplicated effort where appropriate.
- Recommend future improvements and additional capabilities to add to our Shared Tooling catalogue in response to user needs and evolving AI landscape.
The Skills you will bring
- Strong, hands-on AI product knowledge, including an understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP), knowledge graphs, integrations, connectors, and the practical differences, strengths, and limitations of AI models.
- Demonstrated ability to lead engineering and non-technical teams effectively and line manage others.
- Proven senior product management experience developing and managing AI-enabled products in a complex or multi-market organisation.
- Strong user discovery and user testing experience, with the ability to translate insights into clear product outcomes, roadmaps, priorities, and practical delivery plans.
- Excellent stakeholder and people skills, with the maturity and credibility to work primarily with engineers and stakeholders across different lines of business.
- A data-obsessed approach to product management, using qualitative and quantitative evidence to prioritise, measure outcomes, and make clear recommendations.
- A genuinely user-focused product mindset, with sound judgement, curiosity, pragmatism, and the confidence to challenge assumptions constructively.
Nice to have:
- Experience developing shared tooling, products, or infrastructure across a large, complex environment.
Working Pattern/Location
This is a permanent, full-time role with hybrid working arrangements from our London offices approx.1-2 days per week. Semi-regular travel to Bauer Audio markets.
