Integrations

  • Test Aderant Sierra against related tools such as Billblast, iTimekeep, Intapp Open, Emburse, Report Manager, APIs, Workday and data feeds.
  • Validate APIs and SQL data after each change.

Release and Defect Management and Issues Resolution

  • Maintain test packs, data and environment notes after each Sierra cloud drop.
  • Identify, log, triage and retest defects, and communicate bugs and faults to relevant stakeholders for resolution.
  • Support application analysts with error tracking and identification, and incident management.
  • Confirm there is no regression in billing or period-end processing.
  • Support user teams with user acceptance testing (UAT) for key stakeholders.
  • Work in Azure DevOps (or similar) for planning, runs and traceability.
  • Collaborate with third-party providers and IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.

Development Support

  • Provide thorough quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle and document the results of test cycles.
  • Review developer changes and user stories (scripts, configurations, Design Studio / Framework customisations) for testability.
  • Add hooks or test IDs where possible, seed test matters / timekeepers and promote build when automated pack and manual UAT is green.
  • Query Sierra / SQL Server tables to prove balances, rates and invoice lines.

Skills and Experience Required

We are seeking a meticulous, experienced tester with strong problem-solving skills and a history of working with financial systems and, ideally, finance operations.
