Exceptional Hospitality Starts with You
This role is based at our corporate office in McLean, VA
This is your chance to be part of a Corporate Human Resources team at a top global hospitality company! As a Benefits and Retirement Sr Analyst, you will partner with our business leaders to attract and retain Hilton's most important asset, our Team Members. On the Total Rewards team reporting to the Director of U.S. Benefits, you will support projects including management of the Defined Benefits retirement plan, benefits compliance support, data warehouse reporting, leave program management, and vendor management.
What you'll do during a typical day:
- Lead benefits compliance activities across health, welfare, retirement, and leave programs, including federal and state reporting, oversight of private plan reapproval filings, implementation of regulatory requirements related to state and local leave laws, coordination of required participant notices, and support for organizational changes such as new FEIN setup and benefit plan implementation.
- Manage relationships with benefit vendors through regular governance meetings, operational reviews, issue resolution, performance monitoring, and service delivery oversight. Partner with internal teams to develop Team Member communications, educational resources, and benefits-focused webinars that support engagement and understanding.
- Analyze benefits and workforce data to develop dashboards, performance metrics, and business review reporting that support decision-making and identify trends, risks, and opportunities across Health and Welfare programs.
- Lead projects supporting Health and Welfare plan administration, including document management, process improvements, operational model reviews, and efforts to enhance compliance, efficiency, and participant experience.
- Support governance and administration of Hilton's Defined Benefit Pension Plan by partnering with recordkeepers and internal stakeholders, researching complex participant inquiries, interpreting plan provisions and historical records, preparing participant communications, and driving resolution of pension-related issues.
- Serve as an important contributor to the annual Defined Benefit Plan audit by coordinating audit deliverables, responding to auditor requests, validating data integrity, managing project timelines, and ensuring completion of all audit requirements.
How you'll collaborate with others:
- You'll work with teams across Hilton and with our external benefits and retirement partners to help deliver a seamless experience for Team Members.
- Partner with Benefits, Retirement, Payroll, Finance, Accounts Payable, Legal, Communications, and HR teams to support the administration and compliance of Hilton's health, welfare, retirement, and leave programs.
- Build relationships with external vendors, trustees, auditors, and recordkeepers by participating in regular meetings, coordinating follow-up actions, and helping resolve issues and participant inquiries.
Projects you'll take ownership of:
- Lead the ongoing development of important benefits resources, including PTO flyer repositories, leave and disability materials, and Team Member-facing documentation.
- Coordinate compliance-related projects such as state private plan renewals, required notices, reporting activities, and the establishment of new benefit plan entities as Hilton's business evolves.
- Help create reporting and dashboard solutions by gathering data, building reports, and helping deliver insights that inform benefits strategy.
- Manage recurring Defined Benefit retirement plan administration activities, including billing processes, reconciliations, audit support, and participant inquiry resolution.
