Are you ready to turn complex data into clear, confident decisions that shape the future of life-changing medicines? In this role, you will develop patient, volume, and revenue forecasts for strategic brands and early assets across Global priority markets and the US—work that directly informs brand strategy, investment decisions, and how we reach patients faster!

Based at Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore on a hybrid schedule (three days a week in office) with a 2 PM - 11 PM IST shift, you will partner closely with forecasting leadership and Commercial teams. You will build and own models that set performance expectations, provide clarity on risk and opportunity, and guide cross-functional teams toward decisive action. Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where your analysis sparks strategy and your point of view earns trust?

  • Decision Support: Translate insights into clear recommendations, expertly defend methodologies and assumptions, and influence cross-functional collaborators with clear logic and quantified confidence.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Align forecast assumptions and analytical outputs with partners in Marketing, Sales, Market Access and Pricing, Finance, Analytics, and Sales Operations to ensure a single, trusted view of demand.
  • New Product Introduction: Develop volume forecasts for launches to feed strategic and operational planning, informing resourcing, supply, and market activation.
  • Data and Methodology Difficulty: Identify and apply the right data sources and industry-leading approaches; integrate primary research and secondary data to ensure objectivity and comprehensive coverage.
  • Sensitivity and Scenario Analysis: Conduct simulations and ranges (including Monte Carlo as appropriate) to clarify uncertainty, quantify upside/downside, and support risk management.
  • Global Pipeline and Early Assets: Create new forecast frameworks as business needs emerge for pipeline assets, lifecycle management, and business development opportunities.
  • US Planning Cadence: For US-focused work, participate in S&OP processes, submit volumes, and build weekly, monthly, and annual models and conversions aligned to commercial rhythms.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evolve forecasting capabilities through innovation in methodologies, automation, and tools; champion standard processes that improve speed, reliability, and decision quality.
  • Documentation and Communication: Deliver forecasts with clear, accessible documentation of assumptions, confidence levels, and key drivers; proactively surface issues that matter to the business.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • 6+ years of direct Pharmaceutical forecasting experience with an in-depth knowledge of forecasting techniques, models and approaches
  • Good understanding of multiple disease areas, with experience in rare diseases/ OBU including how patients move through their respective diagnosis and treatment pathways, including treatment dynamics
  • Experience integrating insights from market research and secondary data analysis into forecast assumptions
  • Experience using a range of data sources and analytics involving standard data in the Pharmaceutical industry – e.g. IQVIA (MIDAS, DDD NPA, Monthly Xponent), claims data (Truven, Marketscan), epidemiological data, etc. For US forecasting, experience with TRx / NBRx / NRx data and methodologies
  • Strong analytical expertise; excellent Excel, financial modelling and forecasting skills
