Direct Reports To: Manager – Global Supply Chain Finance at GCC Bangalore, India

Reports To: Associate Director, GCC India FP&A

Timing: 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM Indian time

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days WFH)


Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical, business-oriented Finance Professional to join our Global Supply Chain Finance team. In this role, person will drive financial planning, performance management, cost optimization, and strategic business partnering across Operation, regional Business/Zones finance teams. As a key contributor, person will leverage data-driven insights to guide budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, benchmarking, and value-creation projects. This position will be responsible for building robust financial models, performing advanced data analysis, and delivering timely, actionable insights and tools to support senior management and global stakeholders in strategic decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic finance business partner to Global Operations and Supply Chain leadership teams.
  • Support on annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities for Supply Chain functions.
  • Drive financial performance management through operation KPI tracking, trend analysis, and target achievement monitoring.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis on Actuals vs Budget, Forecast, Prior Year, and Strategic Plan.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Analyze COGS performance and identify opportunities to improve product profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Lead Gross Savings tracking, validation, governance, and reporting in partnership with Operations teams.
  • Evaluate productivity initiatives and ensure financial benefits are accurately measured and realized.
  • Conduct deep-dive reviews of labor, utility, maintenance, fixed manufacturing, and conversion costs.
  • Monitor material usage, waste, scrap, yield losses, and operational efficiency metrics.
  • Develop and automate MIS reports, dashboards, and management presentations using SAP, Power BI, Excel, and reporting tools.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of management reporting and financial information.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify business risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support leadership reviews through insightful performance reports, executive summaries, and strategic recommendations.
  • Drive automation, digitalization, and finance transformation initiatives to improve reporting efficiency and data quality.
  • Collaborate with Data & Analytics teams to enhance financial reporting architecture and data governance.
  • Challenge spend assumptions and proactively identify cost-saving and productivity improvement opportunities.
  • Benchmark operational and financial KPIs against internal and external standards to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across financial planning, reporting, and analytical processes.
  • Influence stakeholders through fact-based recommendations and strong financial storytelling.

Qualifications and skills:

Education:

  • Any Finance related Bachelor & master’s degree

Experience:

  • 5-10 years of experience in supply chain finance, FP&A, Procurement finance role.
  • Experience in a global or multinational environment with FMCG exposure is preferrable
  • Proven track record in managing and optimizing supply chain processes.

Technical Skills:

  • ERP: SAP
  • Power BI, Advanced MS Excel & Power Point

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and contribute with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
