At PGIM, You Can!

What you will do

The Senior Analyst will provide day-to-day operational support for PGIM Credit’s Securities Lending business. This role serves as a key control point across the loan lifecycle, supporting loan execution, returns, restructures, recalls, settlements management, and related issue resolution.

In this role, you will partner closely with Securities Lending traders, broker-dealers, custodian banks, technology partners, and internal Operations teams to ensure timely, accurate, and well-controlled processing across cash-collateralized lending activity, including Corporate Bonds and U.S. Treasury securities. The successful candidate will bring strong operations knowledge, attention to detail, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to risk reduction, escalation, and process improvement.

This position is based in our office in Newark, NJ and will follow a hybrid schedule. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure ( 3 days in office) where employees can work remotely and/ from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. Working from the office is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration.

What you can expect

  • Monitor and support the daily settlement of securities lending loans, returns, recalls, restructures, and sale-related activity, ensuring timely resolution of exceptions and breaks.
  • Act as a primary operational point of contact for Securities Lending traders, broker-dealers, custodians, and internal Operations partners across the loan lifecycle.
  • Manage operational issues through resolution, coordinating across impacted teams and communicating status, risks, and required actions clearly and timely.
  • Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks related to settlement fails, buy-ins, loan recalls, corporate actions, restructures, overdrafts, and client or portfolio impact.
  • Support cash-collateralized lending activity for fixed income products, including Corporate Bonds and U.S. Treasury securities, in accordance with established controls and procedures.
  • Analyze activity, trends, breaks, and key operating metrics to support management reporting, risk monitoring, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with technology and operations teams to identify automation opportunities, reduce manual risk, improve scalability, and enhance the overall control environment.
  • Maintain strong internal and external relationships to support service levels, timely escalation, and effective issue resolution across the Securities Lending platform.
  • Stay informed on industry initiatives, market structure changes, settlement practices, and regulatory developments that may affect securities lending operations.

What you will bring

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in fixed income operations, middle office, trade support, settlements, collateral management, or securities lending operations; direct securities lending experience strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of fixed income products, trade lifecycle controls, settlement practices, collateralized lending activity, and exception management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills, with the ability to identify root causes and drive timely resolution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to coordinate effectively with front office, brokers, custodians, technology, and operations stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and accountable, with a continuous improvement mindset and commitment to a strong control environment.
  • Ability to balance daily production responsibilities with project, automation, and process enhancement initiatives.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business applications

What will set you apart?

  • Experience with securities lending, trade support, or settlement platforms such as Spire, EquiLend, Loanet, Aladdin, or custodian systems is preferred.

*PGIM welcomes all applicants, even if you don't meet every requirement. If your skills align with the role, we encourage you to apply.
