Are you driven by innovation and helping customers solve complex business challenges with technology solutions? If so, consider joining the MultiTech team! MultiTech is a global company with a 50+ year legacy of designing and manufacturing connectivity solutions for a broad range of industries. We are gearing up for the next phase of our journey and are seeking top talent to bolster our team. Our people are our greatest asset and we’re focused on making MultiTech the employer of choice in the industry.
MultiTech has spent more than 50 years building the connectivity and IoT hardware that industrial and enterprise customers run on. With the support of our private equity sponsor, we are supercharging our Solution sales motion and building the Revenue Operations function that behind that shift.
SUMMARY: The Senior Analyst, Revenue Operations is the analytical engine of the Commercial function. You will own pricing and sales analytics, make day-to-day pricing and deal-desk decisions within established guardrails, build the quoting tools the Sales team relies on, and produce the reporting and materials leadership uses to run the commercial business. You will report to the VP of Revenue (former Bain) and work directly with the Chief Commercial Officer and Sales team, with your analysis reaching the board and our sponsor. You will also partner closely with Finance and work regularly with Legal, Product, and Operations.
This role suits someone from consulting, analytics, or operations with a strong quantitative background looking for more ownership than an advisory seat allows. Scope and decision authority are expected to grow with performance, and the role is built as a path toward leading pricing, commercial strategy, or Revenue Operations as the function scales.
Candidates in the Twin Cities or New York City are preferred; remote arrangements will be considered for the right candidate, with occasional travel to MultiTech’s Minnesota headquarters.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pricing & Sales Analytics
- Build and maintain core commercial analytics — bookings, backlog, revenue, pipeline, and win/loss — by customer, segment, channel, and product
- Analyze price realization, margin, and discounting to identify leakage and opportunities to improve profitability
- Lead customer and product profitability analysis in support of key account reviews and account planning
- Model the impact of pricing actions and cost changes (e.g., list price updates, tariff or input-cost pass-through) to inform leadership decisions
- Partner with Finance to reconcile commercial data and keep CRM (HubSpot) and reporting data accurate and consistent
Pricing, Quoting & Deal Desk
- Manage pricing for direct and channel customers, including price book maintenance and implementation of approved price changes in collaboration with Sales and Sales Ops
- Make pricing and deal-desk decisions within established guardrails, escalating exceptions with a clear recommendation
- Build, maintain, and support the quoting tools and templates used by the Sales team; serve as the day-to-day point of contact for quoting questions
- Coordinate contract workflows with Sales, Legal, and Finance — tracking redlines, versions, and key commercial terms
- Support the creation of larger bid packages and supporting documentation, in collaboration with Sales, in pursuing larger customers and deals
Leadership Reporting & Materials
- Own recurring commercial reporting for the VP of Revenue and Chief Commercial Officer, including dashboards in Power BI and Excel
- Develop executive-ready materials in PowerPoint for leadership meetings, board and investor updates, and strategic initiatives
- Translate analysis into concise narratives and recommendations for senior leadership
- Respond to ad hoc analytical requests from commercial leadership with speed and rigor
Process Improvement
- Identify bottlenecks across the quote-to-cash and new-customer onboarding processes, and design, document, and implement improvements
- Systematize quoting, pricing governance, and deal-desk processes as the function scales, including approval workflows and exception management
- Maintain the onboarding scorecard for key new accounts, tracking milestones and surfacing risks to cross-functional partners
- Define and track operational metrics (e.g., quote turnaround time, time-to-revenue, pricing exception rates) to measure the impact of improvements
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., economics, finance, engineering, mathematics, statistics, business analytics) or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of experience in management consulting, analytics, FP&A, pricing, revenue/sales operations, or business operations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial and scenario modeling, large data sets) and PowerPoint (executive-ready materials) required
- Strong structured problem-solving skills and the ability to turn analysis into clear, concise recommendations for senior leaders
- Highly organized; able to manage multiple workstreams and cross-functional stakeholders with minimal oversight
- Sound commercial judgment and comfort making decisions within defined guardrails
- Familiarity with HubSpot and Power BI preferred; SQL a plus
- B2B experience, ideally in hardware, IoT, or manufacturing environments, and exposure to pricing, deal-desk, or contract workflows a plus
