Abilia is an international company currently looking for a Senior App Developer for Gothenburg and Komp.
About Komp
Komp is a single-button computer designed to bridge the digital divide between older people who are not tech-savvy, their friends and family, and care staff. Komp enables seamless communication regardless of technical skills. With over 18 million moments shared via Komp, Abilia is creating real change for older people, their families and care staff.
About the role
As a Senior App Developer at Abilia, you will work closely with a cross-functional team and help shape the social and cognitive support technology of the future.
In this role, you will develop and improve Komp’s mobile app to ensure a seamless user experience, maintain high performance and contribute to an architecture that enables continuous innovation.
The team works using agile methods and describes itself as ‘easy-going’. You’ll have many points of contact, including with our other offices in Stockholm and Oslo.
Your responsibilities
Develop new features for Komp’s mobile app with a focus on user experience, performance and stability.
Improve the code architecture.
Collaborate with designers, backend developers and product owners to create the best possible experience for users and customers.
Take part in system design discussions and contribute insights and expertise.
Identify and resolve bugs and other technical issues.
Take ownership of projects, from planning through to implementation.
Share knowledge and mentor team members on best practice in app development.
Who are you?
You are an experienced and driven React Native app developer who wants to help create a meaningful product. You have several years’ practical experience of developing and launching mobile apps, with solid expertise in React Native for both iOS and Android. We’d also like to see that you have experience of front-end development in React, and it’s a bonus if you’re proficient in app development using Dart/Flutter.
As a person, you are communicative and good at explaining technical concepts clearly. Naturally, you are self-motivated, and we hope that, like us, you are a down-to-earth person. You have a good command of Swedish and English (English is our working language).
