Senior Appian Developer with German

As part of our BPM & Low-Code team, you will work on international projects where Appian is used to build scalable workflow and process automation solutions.

As a Senior Appian Developer, you will take ownership of technical delivery, advise on Appian solution design, and guide less experienced colleagues. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys hands-on development, client-facing project work, and shaping how low-code solutions are built.

Primary Functions and Tasks:

• Design and develop Appian applications for business process automation and workflow management

• Translate business requirements into clear, scalable, and maintainable Appian solutions

• Act as a technical contact for Appian feasibility, architecture, and implementation topics

• Lead development activities and support junior developers through guidance, reviews, and knowledge sharing

• Integrate Appian with external systems, enterprise applications, and surrounding platforms

• Configure and support Appian environments in cloud and on-premises setups

• Work closely with consultants, architects, and client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

• Contribute to testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and go-live support

• Apply Appian best practices and help improve delivery quality within the team

• Work in Agile/Scrum project environments

We are looking for: 

• 3–4+ years of hands-on experience with Appian development

• Proven project experience in Appian implementations

• Strong understanding of Appian architecture, integrations, and platform capabilities

• Experience coordinating development work or mentoring junior team members

• Experience with Appian cloud and/or on-premises setup and configuration

• Appian Senior Designer and/or Lead Appian Designer certification

• Solid understanding of Scrum or Agile delivery methods

• Fluent German and English communication skills; German minimum C1 level

• Java development knowledge is considered an advantage

• A structured, proactive, and client-oriented way of working
