The Role
We are seeking an experienced Application Architect to join our team and contribute to ongoing and upcoming projects, focusing on the end-to-end integration architecture of Banking Products.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern the project platform architecture and design standards
• Own the target-state integration architecture vision and ensure all integration work aligns to it
• Establish Authentication and Authorization (RBAC, SSO/Identity Provider patterns), security, audit-trail and fallback-behavior standards)
• Oversee DevSecOps pipeline design (CI/CD, deployment automation) and environment strategy; securing integration design sign-off
• Provide technical governance during SIT, NFRT and UAT phases, leading production deployment planning
• Delegate detailed integration flow design, sequence diagrams, API specification artefacts and Initial
• Load design & execution to the Integration Architect
• Mentor the Integration Architect and development team. Liaise with the client Architecture team

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in Solution/Application Architecture.
• Strong experience in end-to-end integration architecture within banking or financial services, including API-led, event-driven, and orchestration patterns, as well as familiarity with core banking systems.
• Experience with architecture governance, review boards, architecture sign-off, integration design, and traceability.
• Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to collaborate with architect/developer teams and liaise effectively with enterprise architecture teams.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve technical conflicts and communicate architecture decisions clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills in Greek and English, with a collaborative, ownership-driven, and accountable mindset and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
• Military obligations completed, if applicable.
